Vidéoformes (in Clermont-Ferrand) defines itself as a permanent look-out post of the evolutions of the art of the new technologies, a space of presentation, reflection and debate. It creates diverse bridges between an artistic world, a public and professionals, and presents the most creative aspects: installations, video films and cinema, performances, CD-ROMS and Internet sites, etc.... Since 1986, every spring, Vidéoformes proposes the current events of the contemporary creation. Several exhibitions settle down in the heart of the city. Simultaneously, the Festival presents videos in competition but also thematic programs, performances, events as the " Night of the electronic arts ", as well as conferences, Round Tables, meet particular artists-students, program exhibitions and public young competitions.
